Man who doctors wrote-off as dead leads normal life

A man left in a coma by a horrific car crash is now living a normal life, despite his family being told by doctors that they intended to switch off his life-support machine when he was in hospital. Steven Thorpe, from Kenilworth in Warwickshire, was 17 at the time of the accident and only survived because his parents insisted on getting a second opinion.
